Tuscany Tour 2012 is an exciting adventure through Tuscany, driving a classic car on dramatic roads with stunning scenery, in the company of like-minded classic car enthusiasts, enjoying charming hotels and great local gastronomy.
ITINERARY
The Tuscany Tour 2012 will bring you to the same roads where the historic “Mille Miglia” race took place. From Florence you will drive through the most beautiful places in Tuscany such as the Chianti region, the towns of Siena and San Gimignano. On the way you will visit historic villages, castles and vineyards where wine tasting is available.
Day 1
Make your way to Florence, check in the hotel where you will meet the rest of the group and the Tour Director.
You will be briefed about the tour and given the Road Book.
Day 2 km 94
From Florence we reach the town of Greve in Chianti driving on the Cassia road, where the historic Mille Miglia race took place. We continue driving towards Castellina in Chianti, right across the heart of the Chianti region until we reach our final destination: Siena.
Day 3 km 94
From Siena we drive a few miles to reach the beautifully preserved medieval fortified village of Monteriggioni. After a visit we continue to San Gimignano and Montespertoli. The tour ends in Florence, where you will spend the night.

Cars
At the time of booking you will be given the opportunity to choose any of our available cars.
Every tour has at least 1 back up car available in case of mechanic failure.
Tour director
The tour is lead by our Tour Director driving the assistance car. The tour director is there to provide assistance on the road.
Minimum number of persons required for the Tour to proceed
For the Tour to take place we require a minimum of 3 cars. In the event that we do not reach this number we will notify the client of the cancellation of the Tour within 15 days of departure at the latest.
Documents and driving license
A current, valid passport is required by all members of the client's party.
All drivers must:
- Be at least 25 years old.
- Hold of a valid EU or international driving license for a minimum of 5 years.
Insurance
Standard (included in the price)
- Standard third party insurance.
- Fire and theft insurance with limited liability.
- The customer is fully responsible for any damage to the car.
Full Protection (optional)
- Fully Comprehensive Auto Insurance with limited liability.
- Exclusion of liability for fire and theft.
- Passenger insurance.
RATES
Tuscany Tour 2012 participation fee € 2,250.00
Porsche 911 upgrade € 550
Full Protection Insurance: € 150 per car (Porsche 911 € 300)
The costs, per car, are based on two people per car sharing a hotel room and include the following:

BOOKING AND PAYMENT
A deposit of € 500 per car is required together with a completed booking form no later than 45 days before departure.
The full balance of the cost of the Tour is payable no later than 15 days before departure. Payment is acceptable in the form of bank transfer, credit card and Paypal. In the event that we do not receive the balance of the cost of the tour by the due date we have the right to treat your booking as cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited.

- More than 30 days: 0%
- Within 30 days 100%
The cancellation period will be calculated from the date we receive written notice to the date the tour starts.
