TERMS OF HIRE AND USE

Car collection and return
We rent our cars on a daily basis. One day is considered from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm
You can collect and return your car anytime between 8.00 am and 8.00 pm (conditions apply in case the car is not collected and returned directly from our garages)

Briefing
When we deliver the car we will provide a briefing during which we will explain how to operate correctly and safely the car you have rented.

Fuel
All cars are delivered with a full tank. You are kindly asked to return your car with a full tank.
If you return the car without a full tank we will charge the customer an additional €20 fee for the refuelling service plus the cost of the missing fuel.

Mileage
100 Kms per day are included in price; thereafter you will be charged € 0.75 per Km.

Fines
All fines and traffic offences which could occur during the period of the renting will be charged to the customer.

Geographic limits
Unless previously agreed with Chianti Classic Car, you are required to use our cars within the borders of the Tuscany region and/or along the routes indicated in our itineraries.

Oil and maintenance
All expenses for oil will be refund by showing a formal invoice registered to Chianti Classic Car. Any other maintenance expenses will not be refund without a previous authorisation by our staff.

Extension of the Original Duration of the Rental
Should you wish to keep the Vehicle for a period longer than that originally set out in the rental agreement, you must first contact us by phone in order to extend the duration of the rental agreement.
Failing to do so will result in a late return fee of €50 for each day after the return day agreed in the contract.

INSURANCE

Standard
- Standard third party insurance.
- fire and theft insurance with limited liability (€3000).
The customer is fully responsible for any damage to the car.

Full Protection
- Fully Comprehensive Auto Insurance with limited liability (€3000).
- Exclusion of liability for fire and theft.
- Passenger insurance.

Minimum Driving Conditions
Max two drivers allowed. They must be declared when you collect the car.
All drivers must:
Be at least 25 years old and not over 70 years old.
Hold of a valid driving licence for a minimum of 5 years.
